LACKING THE WISDOM OF JFK

“Nuclear powers must avert those confrontations which bring an adversary to a choice of either a humiliating retreat or a nuclear war. To adopt that kind of course in the nuclear age would be evidence only of the bankruptcy of our policy — or of a collective death-wish for the world.” – John F. Kennedy

The slaughter of an estimated 3 million people in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia during the U.S. war on Vietnam was based on lies.

The bombing of Yugoslavia under Clinton was based on lies.

The incineration of hundreds of thousands in Iraq under W. Bush was based on lies.

The slaughter of tens of thousands in Afghanistan under W. Bush and continued by Obama was based on lies.

The reduction to rubble of the richest nation in Africa, Libya, and the slaughter of thousands of its civilians under Obama (strongly supported by Hillary) was based on lies. Libya went from the most advanced nation in Africa to a ruin where slave trading, child sex trafficking, starvation, and abject poverty are now standard.

The US bombing of Syria was based on lies.

In all of these nations the US broke all international law, rained down cluster bombs, napalm, agent orange, and slaughtered civilians by the tens of thousands.

The death of more thousands trying to flee across the Mediterranean and from the Middle East, along with the migration crisis across western Europe in general, are the direct result of US brutality.  And this doesn’t begin to address the endless US orchestration of torture, slaughter, and coups in Latin and South America which have contributed to the immigration crisis on our own southern border.

Mysteriously, US mainstream media missed most of this.

And now Ukraine. Breaking every US promise made to Gorbachev not to expand NATO after he allowed the reuniting of Berlin, Clinton began the process. W. Bush continued NATO expansion. The Obama administration, specifically VP Joe Biden and Victoria Nuland, orchestrated the violent coup in Ukraine to overthrow the democratically elected President Yanukovych, who had run on a promise that Ukraine would not join NATO and would have friendly relations with Russia. Following the coup, the Neo-Nazis installed by the US, using US supplied arms, began bombing the ethnically Russian civilian population of the Donbas region of Ukraine. An estimated 14,000 were killed.

To say that Russia was unprovoked in Ukraine is to say JFK and the US were unprovoked by Russian missiles in Cuba. And Cuba, as a sovereign nation like Ukraine, had every legal right to allow Russian missiles on its soil. Russia, after all, was simply defending itself from the “aggressive” Americans by placing arms in Cuba.

Of course, the current US arming of Taiwan, is not at all like Cuba. Afterall, the US wears white hats and Russia and China wear black hats. And, of course, China is being “aggressive.” And Russia and China should never react like the US did in Cuba, because America, well because Americans are the good guys and mean no harm by arming Ukraine and Taiwan. Just having a little fun.

The United States is less than 5% of the world’s population. Lacking the wisdom of JFK, the Biden administration and the ideologically impaired ivy league neocons currently at the head of the U.S. State Department, endanger all humanity.

Repeating the words of JFK:

“Nuclear powers must avert those confrontations which bring an adversary to a choice of either a humiliating retreat or a nuclear war. To adopt that kind of course in the nuclear age would be evidence only of the bankruptcy of our policy — or of a collective death-wish for the world.”

Russia is winning the war in Ukraine and all Americans should be praying that they do.
