WE ARE ONE RALLY

President Trump is coming to Duluth for a campaign rally on June 20th. The progressive community is organizing several alternative events. It is the Northland’s turn to stand up for justice and show the world that we DO care about people everywhere. A HUGE TURNOUT will show the Northland rejects Trump’ mean-spirited agenda!!

1) Soulstice: A Celebration of Peace, Love and Democracy

Date: Wednesday, June 20, 2018

Time: 5:00 to 8:00 PM

Place: Leif Erikson Park, Duluth (11th Ave E. & London Rd)

This is a free outdoor concert and a rallying call for democracy. This is not a political rally but an opportunity to raise our voices together in a positive expression of solidarity with ALL people of America. There will be music by Sara Thompson and the Echo’s of Peace Choir, poetry, art and speakers. Sponsored by Veterans for Peace, Echo’s of Peace, Grandmothers for Peace and supported by Take Action Minnesota. This is a rapidly evolving event and other groups are joining.

2) WE ARE ONE March and Rally

Date: Wednesday, June 20, 2018

Time: 4:30 to 6:30 PM

Place: Duluth Civic Center (411 W. St Street)

March past 45’s motorcade with rally at Civil Center. This is an opportunity to come together as a community regardless of age, ethnicity, or housing status to stand against 45’s policies and practices. We aim to create a safe space for all to feel welcome, heard, and respected.

Come for an amazing set of performers/ speakers and an inclusive community march. Sponsored by the Forward Coalition.
