TUESDAY, APRIL 4….ELECTION…..PLEASE VOTE

Go to your local polling station and vote for State Superintendent of Public Schools and members of your local school board. Wisconsin is the only state to elect their State Superintendent. Other states appoint their superintendent.

Few issues in recent years have ignited as much political debate as the creation of the Affordable Care Act. On Thursday, April 6, at 7 p.m., WIPPS Economic Policy Fellow Dr. Marty Finkler will be presenting on, “The Affordable Care Act: Aftermath and Consequences,” in the James F. Veninga Theater at the UW Center for Civic Engagement, 625 Stewart Avenue, Wausau WI

A Q&A session will follow the talk.
