THE SUMMIT IS AROUND THE CORNER

With budget negotiations still stalled, a pile of troubling legislation on deck at the Capitol, and our schools facing more budget uncertainty than ever, the time to unite to stand up for our students and their public schools is now.

Wisconsin Public Education Network’s 3rd Annual Summer Summit is your invitation to come together.

Register today and be a part of the public education event of the year.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 9 AT LAKE MILLS HIGH SCHOOL

8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The agenda has something for everyone: from veteran teachers, board members, administrators and long-time advocates to those who are just learning about the challenges facing our students and their public schools.

Register today if you haven’t already. Just $25 includes lunch, the full day’s session of breakouts and speakers, and the Wisconsin premiere of the feature-length film, “Backpack Full of Cash,” narrated by Matt Damon, followed by a conversation with the filmmakers, Sarah Mondale and Vera Aronow, moderated by Wisconsin voucher expert and author of the film’s discussion guide, Barbara Miner.

Make a direct invitation to parents, educators, board members, administrators, and community members who support your local schools. We need to come together and this is our opportunity to learn and connect!

The Summit is just around the corner, and space is limited. Register today and be part of the growing movement to support fully and fairly funded Wisconsin public schools!

Please join us. We need you at the table. Heather DuBois Bourenane
