JANUARY EVENTS

Tuesday, January 3, 2017 Drinking Liberally

I look forward to seeing you there. Also, it is time to talk about getting involved with Citizens Action — they are in their 60 day organizing drive.

Say goodbye to 2016 and welcome 2017 with your Wausau Drinking Liberally friends this Tuesday, January 3rd. There has been a lot to mourn in 2016 but hopefully we can reclaim some hope with the launching of a new year. If nothing else, we can support each other and lift our spirits with some spirits at DL. See you at 5:30 pm at Malarkey’s THIS Tuesday, January 3rd.

Saturday, January 21, 2017 Madison March on Women

January 21 we will have a bus going to Madison for the March on Women (everyone is included). This march is in solidarity with those in Washington D.C. on that day.

We will leave the Universalist Unitarian Church parking lot, 504 Grant Street at 9 AM sharp! Be ready to board at 8:40 AM.

We will march from Library Hall, 728 State Street, to the Capitol. The end time is approximately 3 PM. Speakers will include Senator Lena Taylor. There will be performances by the Raging Grannies and others. You can learn more about this event on the Marathon Dem’s Facebook page and the Universalist Unitarian Facebook page.

The cost for this (if we can fill the 55 seat bus) would be $20.00 per person. See Nancy Stencil for details. nstencil@charter.net 715.581.7983
