JOIN THE LABOR DAY PARADE ON SEPTEMBER 3….
Last year, the Citizen Action of WI North Central Organizing Co-op was honored to be awarded Citizens of the Year by the Marathon County Central Labor Council AFL-CIO.
The line-up for parade is on Monday, September 3rd @ 3:00 pm from the corner of 3rd Ave and West Wausau Ave.
Parade starts at 4:00 pm and will go down 3rd Ave and end at the Wausau Labor Temple at 318 S 3rd Ave., Wausau, Wisconsin.
We will recognize Grand Marshal, Citizen of the Year and Business of the Year at the end the parade in the Wausau Labor Temple parking lot.

Grand Marshal for this year’s Parade: Gary Gisselman (Wausau City Alderperson, Marathon County Historical Society)
Citizen of the Year: Mary Thao (Wausau School Board member, Wausau City Alderperson, and NC Organizing Co-op member)
Business of the year: Days Bowl-a-Dome
Food Drive: IBEW will be collecting non-perishable food Items and cash donations which will be donated to the Neighbors Place. Look for IBEW Local 388 workers pushing shopping carts or drop off at the Labor Temple, 318 S 3rd Ave Wausau, WI 54401
Members of the North Central Organizing Co-op will be collecting End Childhood Poverty petition signatures during the parade, to be turned over to our state legislators.
Come visit the five Oak Belgian Horses in the LT Parking lot
Serving food 2:00 pm- 7:00 pm
Music: KT Country will be playing from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Strip T after the parade until 8 pm
