We will hear from Susan Crawford who is running for the Wisconsin Supreme Court this spring against Brad Schimel. You may recall the mess that Josh Kaul, as Wisconsin Attorney General, had in the beginning cleaning up the mess Schimel left him. We need to do everything in our power to get Susan elected.

We also have Christina Thor, Wisconsin’s Executive Director for 9to5 Wisconsin. 9to5 is a grassroots centered organizationthat is winning justice for working women with people centered policy change. 9to5 focused on fighting for paid leave, and this year introduced one of the most comprehensive paid leave state bills in the nation. It doesn’t end with paid leave and affordable child care in a battle ground state like Wisconsin, last year 9to5 successfully won local voter rights protection and expansion in both Green Bay and in Kenosha.

 

Some of you met Christina this last month when she put together a terrific forum in Wausau at NTC for the 85thAssembly Candidates. This was part of a series of forums put on by 9to5 throughout the state!
