MAY DAY WAUSAU

Thank you to all who showed for this day of action. There were over 200 of you today that took the time to show up for what is important. We are not protesters but PROTECTORS of all things good. Your signs today reflected everything you are passionate about; everything we are losing. We made our voices heard. These continue to be opportunities for us to lock arms in solidarity. All the beeps and honks and thumbs up show that we are not alone. Our being there shows others they are not alone. The current administration needs to know that we will not back down.

We all know that people like Trump, Tom Tiffany and Ron Johnson are making bad policy that is hurting us deeply on a local level.

For this May Day action we ask you, as you are able, to bring paper products that will benefit the Women’s Community. The severe cuts have hurt them badly. One in four women are hurt or killed each day in our state.

There is plenty of parking in Marathon Park. Please obey all laws.

Make your plan to join us and fight back. Before it’s too late.
