INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

(Susan Crawford Rally)

Saturday, March 8

RIGHTS, EQUALITY, EMPOWERMENT

On March 8, at 10:30 AM, join us to celebrate International Women’s Day under the theme, “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” And I add, also the men who support them. This year’s theme calls for action that can unlock equal rights, power and opportunities for all and a feminist future where no one is left behind.

We only have a few weeks left before the election and I can’t shout it loudly enough how important this election is. When you say you are too busy…does this mean you are willing to accept the outcome of this race? Are you telling me that your rights and the rights of other women are not really that important?

What’s at stake in Wisconsin you ask? Susan Crawford stands up for women’s rights. Her opponent fails to even hold sexual predators accountable. Take a good hard look where his big money is coming from, people like Elon Musk and big pharma. Susan upholds our constitution; she is fair and impartial. She protects voting rights.

I ask that your signs for International Women’s Day reflect getting Susan elected and what is at stake for us as Women in Wisconsin. Vote for Crawford April 1, Did you know there is an important election on April 1? You can also include saving our public schools and Jill Underly. Our rights as women are sliding back by the minute.

While taking it to the streets and making our voices heard is what we do, we need to do more. We need to be assured that people are actually getting out there and voting. It is the only way we will make a change.

After our rally today I ask you to come back to the Marathon Dems Office where we will team up and go out together and hit the doors. This won’t take long. I am asking, as your chair, for two hours of your time. No one goes out alone. The doors you will be knocking on are friendly doors. We are not out there to change minds of the other side but to remind our base to get out and vote.

**We will march along Rib Mountain Drive on the sidewalk. Please park in the parking lot between Michaels Crafts and Hobby Lobby near the road. **

Upcoming events: Every weekend from now until April 1, we will be canvassing (hitting the doors). Grab a buddy and do this. Call Spencer at 805.233.2379 or our office at 715.298.4109
