Where’s Tom Tiffany

Where: Thursday, March 20, noon at 2620 Stewart Avenue, public sidewalk.  LAST SEEN: Ducking in and out and avoiding his constituents. Yet sadly,  he is invited as the special guest to an anti-trans event featuring Riley Gaines at the Hilton Garden Inn  Rib Mountain, March 18 at noon by Mom’s for Liberty and can back that whole heartedly. Obviously he does not represent everyone in his community. WHERE HE IS NOT: Not standing up for Veterans, Farmers, or Seniors. (Who needs them when you have billionaire donors). PROBABLY: Somewhere helping Trump and Musk dismantle the government, one tax cut for the rich at a time. WARNING: If found, he ...

Changing Hearts and Minds

Hi Friends, I  attended this very workshop held by Planned Parenthood in January. I walked away with a renewed sense of optimism! The presentation we will have is a little shorter version, but impactful just the same. We have such a wonderful opportunity to learn how to hold those difficult conversations. We will learn about oursleves and others, how not to make assumptions, how to be better at showing empathy and really listening to the other person. Think about what you want to say and what you want to stay away from saying. Find that one-on-one opportunity and make it your goal that the conversation goes well. Above all stay away from turning ...

Friends of Rib Mountain Snowshoe Hike

There are so many beautiful events happening right in our own community. After our January snowshoe hike was cancelled due to lack of snow, this evenings event lent itself to perfect temperatures and plenty of snow. After the hike, the Friends of Rib Mountain offer hot chocolate, hot apple cider, treats galore, and a fire to toast marshmallows and hotdogs.

Do Your Job

Anyone who uses a computer knows the importance of maintaining security.  We use safe passwords. We use two-step verification for financial and health records. We also rely upon our banks, medical clinics, and our government to protect our personal data and keep our information confidential. Would you put up with your bank giving your personal account numbers, balances, and transactions out to unvetted people that do not have bank security clearances? That would be stealing and compromising your confidential financial information! How about your Clinic or Hospital opening their patient’s medical records, including your recent annual ...
